The New Ignition

Welcome to the all-new Ignition Classics. We launched Ignition Classics in March 2019, experimenting with a few ideas. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, we’ve decided to keep it simple and focus on the market and the enthusiast, taking it back to the roots of the business, staying true to our core values and continue to do what the company has been doing for over 25 years.

The showroom back in the '90s

For those who are unfamiliar with Ignition Classics, the brand is brought to you by Paul Stephens. Paul Stephens started a business specialising in the consignment, purchase, and sale of classic and sports cars back in 1994. The company soon evolved to focus on Porsche and the development of PS Autoart, a collection of bespoke high-end products based on Paul’s passion, vision and experience with this iconic marque.

The new platform will continue the Paul Stephens legacy by not only, by offering a range of examples for sale, to like-minded enthusiasts like yourself, but to build and engage with fresh content on a regular basis.

We asked Paul his thoughts on the current market:

I have been in this business for over 36 years and during that time, I have certainly seen and experienced the market at its best and it’s worst.

Having just gone through another buoyant period of rapid and unsustainable growth, followed by the inevitable decline, I feel the market is back to its true level again. This is great news for enthusiasts who wants to own their dream sports car with minimal depreciation.”
